Terms of service

These terms govern the purchase and use of Ultimate Theme Park (the "Software"), published by Stall Studio ("we", "us"). By purchasing a license you accept them.

1. What you buy

A lifetime license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to run the Software — the Minecraft plugin and the UTP Connect companion application — on one Minecraft server at a time. Activating your license key on another server replaces the previous activation.

The license includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. After that period, the versions released before its end remain available to you indefinitely. Access to newer versions can be extended for one year at a time, for the price shown in your account, without automatic renewal.

2. What you may not do

You may not resell, sublicense, share or publish your license key; distribute the Software or its builds; remove or circumvent its license verification; or use it to operate a service that competes with it. We may revoke a license used in breach of these terms, after notice by e-mail.

3. Payment, invoices and taxes

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included [TODO: confirm tax status — "VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French CGI" / Belgian equivalent / Stripe Tax]. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. An invoice is e-mailed to you after each payment.

4. Right of withdrawal

The Software is digital content delivered immediately after payment: your license key is displayed and e-mailed to you at once. By ticking the consent box during checkout, you expressly agree that delivery begins immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, in accordance with EU consumer law.

If something does not work as described, contact us within 14 days at contact@ultimate-themepark.com: we will help, and refund you if we cannot fix it.

5. Updates and support

Updates are published at our discretion. Support is provided through the ticket system in your account and on our Discord server, in English or French, on a best-effort basis. The Software depends on third-party software (Paper, TrainCarts, WorldGuard) whose changes may require an update on our side.

6. Availability of the license service

The plugin checks its license against our service at startup and periodically. It keeps working for thirty days without reaching the service; we undertake to keep the service available and to give notice before any discontinuation, in which case we will publish a version that no longer requires it.

7. Liability

The Software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of revenue arising from its use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

8. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of purchase. These terms are governed by [TODO: Belgian / French] law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of [TODO: city].
